Sam Hyman received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition from Mercyhurst University’s D’Angelo School of Music in 1992. A BMI writer and publisher, Sam has written and produced volumes of music content for NorthStar Music UK, Stock Music, and many other music libraries worldwide.
Sam’s original titles have underscored a variety of international television commercials and series, including Belgium’s long-running Hallo TV series, and The Young and the Restless in the United States. Sam’s full-length albums and singles of original music are available for download everywhere.
In 2001, Sam’s original song FLY was selected by Rat Pack Records as the title cut of Dante Thomas’ debut Rat Pack/Atlantic release. From the early 1990s through 2019, Sam played 100 to 150 gigs every year, either solo or with his band, in regional wineries, brew pubs, listening rooms, restaurants, and for civic festivals & special events. Since 2019, Sam has been touring theaters in the US with his James Taylor Tribute show, Steamroller.
A multi-instrumentalist, Sam is proficient in ProTools and taught audio recording techniques at Gannon University in his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania. Sam enjoys the creative process, and he’s at home working solo or collaborating with a team.
