I saved a news article I wanted to share with all of you, but, time passed…. I lost the article, and I found it again, then I realized that I had forgotten where it came from. So, with apologies and appreciation to the (unknown) news source, here is a true story What is My Coffee? written by Pam Kearney:
I suppose my coffee is entertaining. My goal as a performer is to make people feel good by performing heartfelt music. John Denver music makes it sooo easy for me to make good coffee!
Tell me in the comments – WHAT IS YOUR COFFEE?
What a beautiful story. I guess my coffee is supporting musicians, and the theater. I suppose I’m well known for that as many many fans in the world. Also thank you for bringing John Denver’s music to me
Yes Suzanne, I know you support musicians and we need you! It’s our pleasure and honor to perform John Denver’s amazing music!
Anne, dearest friend…that felt like a Christmas gift. You are the ultimate hostess for every gathering in which you participate. Your beautiful smile draws everyone to you, and to your musical gifts. Which, when received, warms each listener and gives them happy memories of being included in moments of shared magic with seat mates, and the audience as an extended family. You knit everyone together with stories, laughter, and timeless music. You impart welcome, and a generosity of spirit that touches each listening heart. Have you noticed that, afterward, somany want to extend their experience with a hug, or a quick conversation of thanks? You gather new friends with ease because of your sweet spirit. Let’s share a cup ofcoffee soon! Hugs….
Hi Carol! Absolutely! We need to get together soon….thank you for your embarrassingly kind words! I will continue to do my best to live up to them!
My coffee is listening and soothing. Last night Bob and I had dinner with a young friend who hadn’t connected for almost a year. When he arrived he was depressed and apathetic. When he left almost 3 hours later, his face had changed from gray to golden. So grateful.
Hi Connee! You are surely a good listener! Didn’t we have a long talk in a laundry room one day? Lol, you are so special and those lucky enough to have your ear are getting good “coffee”
My coffee is to knit beanie hats and sew fleece blankets for babies, children and adults. They have gone to hospitals, nursing homes, give-a-way thrift shop, wildfire victims and the homeless.
Hi Maggi! How nice for you to knit for needy adults and children! Bless you for sharing your talent!
Before I retired from teaching, my coffee was loving patience. My coffee now, is service in the community. Community service was something my GS leader, Mona Moen taught us was so very important.
Good Coffee TaMara! Mona Moen is still teaching, she taught Jim and I about the love and support you all STILL share in your GS group!
I think she is from Lamesa Texas which is in Davison County. I found the original article on their site. As well as story of their son’s passing.

Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Todd, I did see that article about her. It wasn’t the same as the article I had….I wanted to give credit to the paper but that part was cut off.
LITTLE COFFEE’S; Let someone go ahead of you in many different situations, grocery store, driving, etc. Someone is short on change for a purchase, offer them what they need. Help someone in need for food with buying them some. All little things for me but perhaps big for them!
How wonderful! All good ways to “make coffee”…
What a wonderful show you did as you begin your East Coast/ Midwest tour.
Hope you enjoyed the chocolate chip cake I made for you all. Thought it would be nice to have a homemade treat while on the road again
Hi Diane! It was so wonderful to have cake! It didn’t make it to the road (lol) we were hungry so we ate it at the hotel before turning in for the night!! Thank you, we needed that thoughtful gift! We were glad you could come to the show and that you enjoyed it!
I love reading and looking at your pictures you take on the road & the one I talked about was not finding suitable commendations going across the country. Brand names don’t
mean the same in every state, you are all troupers It must be fun on every trip to look forward to the new adventure.
