My friend Ann posted last month on the blog page that I’ll be in my usual cheerful mode when I get back on the road again, and of course she is 100% correct! All this month we have been doing concerts and making new friends. It’s like the song:
The more we get together, together, together,
The more we get together the happier we’ll be.
‘Cause my friends are your friends and your friends are my friends,
So the more we get together the happier we’ll be!
All I have to do is scroll through my facebook pictures for a few seconds to be reminded of how many smiling faces we have met, and how many fun adventures we have had. So many!
Sorry if I missed anybody, this was just a few seconds of scrolling and a small sample of the fun that we’ve had over the years!
Sharing music and making friends is an important part of living the human experience and something we all need to try to do to be healthy and happy.
You all know that….thank you for reminding me!!
Fun times with fun people!! Miss you guys and can’t wait to see (and hear) you again.
So many great memories! AND I only touched the surface of the many wonderful memories and friends we have made on this journey. 21 years! Can you believe it??
Anne, don’t worry about last month’s blog. We all go through those things!!! We relate! The situation in Europe is of course awful, and THAT bothers all of us a great deal. At first I felt bewildered by it, knowing I cannot help the situation there. But I quickly realized what we can all do is(1.) lessen our own stress (2.) be cheerful to others so we can keep each other up!
You guys are doing that!!! Have a great trip rest of the way!!! Best wishes! Pam
Thanks for the encouragement Pam!!
Looking forward to your return to the Carolinas- because I’ll be there!! Glad you are all performing again. It’s about time, right?
Yes indeed it’s about time!
So much fun to see these! Absolutely bring a smile to my face to see these moments in time.
Sure it is! My only regret is not taking more pictures!!
Another wonderful show with the Buffalo Symphony Orchestra. This was a birthday present to my Mom celebrating 92 years young. I drove down from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Picked up my mom in Hamilton and headed to Buffalo. This was my first concert in over two years and was really worth the long drive.
We had a fabulous time and it was nice to chat with Jim, Anne and Diane after the show. Can’t wait for you to return to Canada and especially if you are playing in Ontario. As things really open up from the lock down, I’m wishing you a very full year of concerts. I’m sure its been tough as working musicians through this pandemic. I’m so grateful more people can hear the wonderful music of John Denver because of what you do Warm regards, Thom
Thank you Thom! Such a pleasure to talk to you and your mom after the show!! Thank you for making the long trip!!
Hope to see you guys again in MN., and maybe in Aspen? The best to you guys, T&K
Hi Tom and Kathy!! Don’t see either of those happening for us this year 🙁 There’s always hope and things change fast in this business!! We hope you have a fantastic time if you go to Aspen!!!!
